Ratzinger, whose full name is Rudolf "Rudy" Ratzinger, is a musician
and electronic music producer hailing from Germany. He is best known for being
the mastermind behind the musical project :Wumpscut:. He was born on June 3,
1966, in Bavaria, Germany, and he founded :Wumpscut: in 1991. :Wumpscut: is a
significant figure in the dark and industrial electronic music scenes, much
like Suicide Commando or Leæther Strip. He also established Beton Kopf Media,
an independent music label for releasing his productions. Additionally, he
started another label, Mental Ulcer Forges, with the aim of nurturing young
talents in the electro/goth/ebm music scene.
